Skaisweden has brought high quality white wines to Finnish customers. The first ones, all presented below, come from vineyards with the highest quality standard VDP Seeger and Haart as well from the Huff vineyard (its famous Riesling Eiswein). All of these excellent white wines are found in Alko’s premium store Arkadia in Helsinki as well as in Alko’s web shop. Some can be found in Espoo (Ainoa) and Tampere (Stockmann Alko) as well.

Seeger Chardonnay "S" Trocken 2018
A dry, fresh and organic white wine from Baden, the sunny slopes of Odenwald. The Seeger vineyard is famous of ”doing things in its own way”: Chardonnay S has been described as varied and unlike the more generic chardonnays from the Baden area. The vineyard tells us that this wine has had a ”controlled freedom to grow, develop and mature”. Burgunder Leimener Herrenberg GG Trocken 2018 Oberklamm Grauer Burgunder GG is a 100% Pinot Gris, dry, organic and vegan white wine. This wine has matured in oak barrels and it is a full-bodied and intensive wine to be served immediately, but it stays harmonious and balanced for years to come. Huff Niersteiner Schloss Schwabsburg Riesling Eiswein 2018
This organic German Eiswein (vintage 2018) comes from the Huff vineyard in Rheinessen. It is a fruity and complex wine with pleasant citrus acidity and aromas of pear and kiwifruit. Haart Riesling Piesporter Goldtröpfchen GG Trocken 2017
Weingut Julian Haart’s Piesporter Goldtröpfchen GG 2017 Riesling is a dry and distinct white Wine with an intensive and fresh scent. This Mosel wine is aromatic and oaky, a bit creamy and juicy, but, at the same time, holds a fine acidity. Haart Riesling Wintricher Ohligsberg Auslese 2015
Weingut Julian Haart’s vineyard in the German Mosel area has produced this sweet, juicy and a bit mineral dessert wine. It has aromas of mature kiwifruit and it is a perfect match with fruity desserts because of its’ fine acidity. Japanese Koshu
An award winning Japanese Koshu wine now available in Finland! The Japanese white wine “Curious Type N” from Soruy winery is available from top and specialty Alko stores all around Finland starting from 2 July 2020. This crisp, light-bodied dry white wine made of Koshu grapes won the Platinum medal in Japan Wine Challenge of 2020. Curious Type N has subtle citrus, white peach and mineral flavours and reserved aromas of biscuit, smoke, mineral, apple and lime on the nose. Notes of pears, yuzu, lychee and quince have also been found in this Japanese wine from Yamanashi Prefecture situated at the base of Mount Fuji, southwest of Tokyo. art, nr. 595647 EUR 34,65 |
